Student Ministries Director
Bethel Church, located in Westminster SC, is currently seeking a qualified Full Time Student Ministries Director to work with the Elementary, Middle and High School Ministry Teams at Bethel. For the past year, God has been leading Bethel Baptist Church through a plan for revitalization. Now we believe we are ready to see the Student Ministries Director He would have to lead us to carry out this plan. 
 
Responsibilities of the Student Ministries Director:
1. Provides vision, strategy, and development for all student ministry environments
2. Works with the Pastor and the High School, Middle School, and Elementary Ministry Teams to recruit, equip, and release a team of serving leaders, creating exciting and age appropriate environments for children to learn, grow and become disciples that make disciples
3. Oversees the safety of the children and those serving
4. Maintains regular office hours through the week as well as weekend hours
5. Visits members related to High School, Middle School and Elementary ministries
6. Assists the Pastor by visiting with prospective members in the High School, Middle School and Elementary School age range
7. Assist the High School, Middle School and Elementary Ministry Team Leader submit budget requests or changes to the Bethel Leadership Team and work within that approved budget
8. Serve as an advisor to the High School, Middle School and Elementary Ministry Team Leaders and Team members serving the Youth and Children’s ministries
9. Lead High School, Middle School, and Elementary age children to follow the Bethel discipleship process of Connect, Love, Disciple and Serve in all phases of their spiritual growth
10. Work with the High School, Middle School, and Elementary Ministry Team Leader to recruit and coordinate volunteers for planned events
11. Work with the High School, Middle School, and Elementary Ministry Team to implement Bible Studies, Events, Literature Materials, etc.
 
Responsibilities Specific to Middle & High School Ministry
Middle School – Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th
High School – Grades 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th
1. Prepare lessons for Bible Study for different age groups and teams
2. Direct and lead Bible Study services at designated times
3. Organize and lead programs for different age groups in Bible Study, Discipleship Training, Outreach Projects, Mission Trips, Youth Events (Retreats, Concerts, Lock-ins, Fundraisers, etc.), Fellowship, Music and Worship
 
Responsibilities Specific to Elementary Ministry 
Grades Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5
1. Organize and coordinate with teachers a meaningful, age appropriate Bible Study and Worship experience during the Worship Service hour
2. Organize and coordinate with the Elementary Ministry Team leader all other activities and discipleship process for this age group
3. Organize literature materials for all Bible Study sessions
Organize and coordinate programs focused on discipleship training
4. Organize and coordinate events such as parties, parents’ night out, mission projects, fundraisers, and fellowship, etc.
